She is wearing a dark colored dress. Collins is smiling affectionately at his bride and has his hand held together with his fingers laced. He is dressed in a suit. The caption on the back of the photograph states, "New York, N.Y.--Edward T. Collins, General Manager of the Boston Red Sox, with his bride, the former Emily Jane Hall, of Brookline, Mass., in their honeymoon suite at the hotel Commodore, here. They were married yesterday at St. Peter's Episocal Church, Westin, Mass., by the groom's son, the Rev. Paul D. Collins of Poultney, VT. 2-14-45." Based on the caption, this photograph was taken on February 14, 1945.
