DescriptionLeather catcher's mitt with stitching on either side of the palm. "Flex" is imprinted on the padding near the hinge on the palm side of the mitt. Manufacturer label on reverse is no longer present. Very faint manufacturer imprinting on reverse of glove, pinky and ring finger, " ...Fingers...Heavy Duty Lock Stitched."

Bio/Historical NoteCatcher's mitt used by Yogi Berra of the New York Yankees to catch Don Larsen's perfect game on October 8, 1956 at Yankee Stadium against the Brooklyn Dodgers in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series. The Yankees won the Series in seven games, 4â€“3. This catcher's mitt was a favorite of Berra's for knuckleball pitchers.
