Bio/Historical NoteLouisville Slugger baseball bat used by Babe Ruth of New York Yankees at the Polo Grounds, September 26, 1921, to hit his 57th and 58th home runs. George Herman "Babe" Ruth played for the Boston Red Sox (1914-1919), New York Yankees (1920-1934), and Boston Braves (1935). He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936 as one of the "First Five" members.
