George Sisler mitt

DescriptionDark brown leather right-handed first baseman's mitt. Palm side of the mitt is all one piece of leather with one finger stall for the thumb. Thumb stall and stall for the other fingers are attached by a string of lacings. Lacings run along the edges of the mitt and are threaded through metal grommets. Back side of the mitt has a leather strap and a buckle at the back of the wrist for adjusting size. There is a manufacturer tag above the wrist opening on the back side of the mitt.
