Lou Gehrig first baseman's mitt

DescriptionDark brown leather right-handed first baseman's mitt with a main stall for the fingers and a thumb stall. Metal grommets and leather lacing extend around the perimeter of the glove, with the main stall being connected to the thumb stall with leather laces looped through the metal grommets. Back side of the mitt has a strap and metal buckle closure at the wrist area. There is a rectangular manufacturer label at the base of the thumb stall which has been rubbed smooth and is mostly illegible.
