DescriptionA black-and-white photograph, from left to right, of Steve O'Neill, Cy Slapnicka and Bob Feller captured as O'Neill and Slapnicka examine Feller's pitching arm as he holds up a baseball. All three gentlemen have serious expressions. Feller is dressed in the Cleveland Indians home uniform. A newspaper clipping affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) reads, "Although given greatest individual buildup of spring, Bob Feller right, has been of practically no aid to Indians. Steve O'Neill, Cleveland manager, left and C. Slapnicka, business manager are shown here inspecting Bob's injured arm." Based on the newspaper clipping, Feller's uniform and his time with the Cleveland Indians this photograph was taken in approximately 1937.
