Rogers Hornsby shirt

DescriptionCream-colored shirt with four white buttons down the front half-placket. There is red piping around the neckline, front half-placket and sleeve ends. Proper left front chest has a red and blue felt "C" logo with an image of a cub holding a baseball bat in the center. Reverse of the shirt has "9" appliqued in blue. "Hornsby 3 32" is embroidered on the reverse proper right side bottom, near the seam. There is a manufacturer label at the interior back of the neck.
Bio/Historical NotePlayer/manager Rogers Hornsby wore this home uniform shirt as he led the Chicago Cubs to a 52-43 record over the first 95 games of the 1932 season.
