One arm has "1977" above the World Series Trophy and banners reading "Pride" and "Tradition." The other arm reads "Kuhn - Yankees 21st World Championships."
Bio/Historical NoteA gold New York Yankees 1977 World Series championship ring given to Commissioner Bowie Kuhn. The New York Yankees defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers four games to two to win the 1977 World Series. Bowie Kuhn served as Major League Baseball's fifth commissioner from 1969 to 1984, and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008.
