Bernice Gera umpire mask

DescriptionUmpire mask with black molded plastic flat bar frame with solid black vinyl padding connected to the frame with plastic snap buttons. Elastic horizontal and vertical head straps are connected to the frame with metal buckles, leather straps and plastic snap buttons. Vertical head strap has "Spalding / Made in USA" in silver lettering.
Bio/Historical NoteMask used by Bernice Gera, who fought a five-year legal battle to become an umpire in the minor leagues in 1972.
