DescriptionBatting gloves with gray textured palms and navy blue elastic wrist straps with a white manufacturer label, "Franklin." Palm side of the finger stalls have vertical ventilation holes. Back sides of the gloves have white and black MLB logos on the navy blue wrist straps and hook-and-loop fasteners. Back sides of the middle, ring, pinky and thumb finger stalls are white leather while the back side of the forefinger stall has a gray textured surface. Back sides also have white and navy blue sections with "Carbon Fibre" and "Franklin" in black lettering. There are vertical ventilation holes on the back sides of the finger stalls.
Bio/Historical NoteOn October 2, 2009, B.J. Upton worked magic with these batting gloves as he became the first Ray to hit for the cycle, including a double and a bases-loaded triple off Yankees ace CC Sabathia, in a 13-4 romp.
