DescriptionBlack synthetic leather left-handed fielder's glove with four finger stalls and a thumb stall. The finger stalls are connected by a synthetic lace that runs through the top of the finger stalls. The finger stalls and thumb stall are connected by a piece of basket woven style leather, which makes up the webbing. The back side of the glove has a few embroidered stamps including a black and gray "Carpenter" logo on the wrist strap, a white "Carpenter" on the ring finger stall, and a red "Pr 16:9" on the thumb stall.
Bio/Historical NoteGlove used by Brian Gordon of the New York Yankees on June 16, 2011. Gordon debuted the first entirely synthetic glove in major league history. This lightweight innovation was developed by the Carpenter Trade Company, based in the Cooperstown area.
