DescriptionPurple and dark gray leather and nylon batting gloves with hook-and-loop wrist straps and a silver manufacturer logo on the back sides closest to the thumb stalls. Palm sides have vertical ventilation holes on the finger stalls. Back sides have white linear detailing with "Hyperfuse" in diagonal lettering. Wrist straps have a silver and purple area at the edges with "Vapor" in white lettering. There are ventilation holes on the back sides on the pinky and forefinger stalls, between the base of the pinky stalls and the wrist straps, and at the base of the thumb stalls.
Bio/Historical NoteBatting gloves used by Colorado Rockies shortstop, Trevor Story, for all three games of the opening series, April 4-6, 2016, against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Story hit two home runs on Opening Day, becoming the first ever player to make his major league debut on Opening Day and hit two home runs. Story hit a home run in each of the three games of the series, becoming the first player ever to hit a home run in his first three games of his career.
