DescriptionAn undated matted pencil-drawn cartoon by artist Little Willy King. It depicts three Chattanooga Lookouts players looking out from behind a wall that reads, "Shaughnessy Play-Offs." The middle player is holding a bat and the caption for all three reads, "Look out - here he comes." Walking towards them is another player with a banner behind him that reads "Crackers," referring to the Atlanta Crackers. The bottom left corner has a drawing of the artist with the caption, "They're waitin' for the bully of the league" and an accompanying signature. The verso (not shown) is blank.

Bio/Historical NoteThe Shaughnessy Playoffs were a playoff system invented by Shag Shaughnessy, General Manager of the Montréal Royals, in 1933.
