DescriptionA black-and-white copy print of a cigarette card featuring Napoleon "Nap" Lajoie throwing a baseball. Lajoie appears to be completing warm-up throws to an non-pictured figure. Lajoie's right throwing hand is positioned in front of his body with his fingers pointed-downward indicating a follow-through, while his left-glove hand extends to his left side. Lajoie wears what appears to be a light-colored warm-up jacket with buttons over his away Cleveland Naps uniform. Based on the uniform details, this photograph was taken between 1905 and 1908. This photograph takes place at an unidentified stadium.
