A newspaper caption affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) states, "Right to left, George Sisler, batting champ of thirty years ago, relives his 1922 fame with Taylor Grant, master of ceremonies and ABC newscaster, at the dinner of the 30-year headliners society in Waldorf-Astoria last night (Tuesday, October 14). 1952"
