DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Sandy Koufax grabbing his golf bag from his car. Koufax is pictured from the waist up and is looking to the side of the camera. The caption at the bottom of the photograph reads, "Los Angeles, Oct. 25--It's time for relaxing for series hero--Pitcher Sandy Koufax of the Los Angeles Dodgers, the pitching hero of the 1965 World Series, takes his golf bags from his car at his home today just before taking off for a round of golf. Sandy told newsmen he plans to travel this winter and "take things as easy as I can, relax and play some golf." He hopes to make a visit to Hawaii too." According to the caption, this photograph was taken on October 25, 1965.
