Foxx, Rommel and Grove are dressed in Philadelphia Athletics home uniforms. Rommel is wearing a Philadelphia Athletics jacket as well. A few unidentified baseball players are visible in the background. Based on their uniforms and their respective time with the team, this photograph was taken in 1927.
