DescriptionA black-and-white negative of a Brooklyn Dodgers baseball game against the New York Yankees. An unidentified Brooklyn Dodgers player is captured bent down in an attempt to tag Bill Knickerbocker of the New York Yankees, who has the number 10 visible on the back of his uniform. Knickerbocker is captured sliding into the base. An umpire is captured sprinting towards the base to make the call. Knickerbocker is dressed in a New York Yankees road uniform. Based on Knickerbocker's uniform and his time with the New York Yankees, this negative was probably taken in 1940.
