Ott has his left arm extended upwards and the ball is casually resting in his baseball glove. Ott is looking up towards his glove and has a smile on his face. Ott is dressed in a New York Giants home uniform. Unidentified baseball players are scattered on a baseball field in the background. The Polo Grounds is in the background filled with fans. Based on Ott's uniform and his time with the Giants, this photograph was taken between 1926 and 1928.
