DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Sandy Koufax captured looking off into the distance with a small smile on his face. Koufax is holding up a small microphone. He is wearing a sports jacket with an NBC patch on it. After retiring from professional baseball in 1966, Koufax went on to become a broadcaster. A caption written on the back of the photograph states, "Sat TV Koufax." A newspaper clipping is affixed to the back of the photograph and states, "In his new profession, Sandy Koufax makes his weekly NBC Television Network debut today on 'The Sandy Koufax Show' and will serve as expert commentator on NBC's 'Major League Baseball,' in color on Channel 4." This photograph was taken in 1967.
