DescriptionThree telegrams sent by Wilbur "Roxey" Roach on the birth of their first child, Stewart. The first is dated August 29, 1912, and was sent to Dr. Twogood, Wilbur thanks him and asked him to wire him tonight as to their condition. The second telegram, August 29, was to his wife, Mrs. Wilbur Roach, Nelle, he says he is glad to know that she and Roxey Jr. are well. He is very happy and will try to be home by Sunday morning. Best wishes for you both. The third telegram, August 31, was sent to Mrs. Wilbur Roach and he tells her he is leaving for Jersey City tonight, get home Sunday night. He hopes that she and baby are getting along and will come as soon as possible. The top of the third one reads "Night Letter," sent at 11PM. The telegrams were sent by the Western Union Telegraph Company. The versos are blank.
