Tony Gwynn in Uniform slide
Datebetween 1991 and 1994
DescriptionA half-length color image of Tony Gwynn in uniform. Shown in 3/4 profile, Gwynn wears a San Diego Padres home uniform and batting gloves. Leaning forward, Gwynn stands with both hands in front of his body. Extending his arms slightly forward, Gwynn turns his head to his right. Based on the specific design of the uniform worn by Gwynn, a pinstripe home uniform without piping, this image was captured between 1991, when San Diego introduced road uniforms with blue and orange lettering without piping, and 1994, when the team added piping to the collar of the jersey.
