Charlie O'Brien Autographed catcher's mask

DescriptionGray fiberglass hockey-style catcher's mask with red coated steel bars and red, white and blue appliques of the Toronto Blue Jays logo on top front and back. There are red and gold "All-Star" stickers on the front, sides and back along with red "v" stickers placed to resemble the stitches on a baseball and a red "22" on each side. The front face protector is connected to the back head plate with adjustable red straps. The inside of the mask has foam padding on the top and back and a leather covered foam chin pad. The chin pad is held in place with a hook-and-loop fastener. "Catch Ya Later / Charlie O'Brien #22" is written in black marker on the right side of the mask.
Bio/Historical NoteHockey-style catcher's mask worn by catcher Charlie O'Brien. O'Brien was the first Major League catcher to use this style of catcher's mask.
