DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Bob Feller, left, and Hal Newhouser, right, captured shaking hands with one another as they kneeled down on the sideline of the baseball field. Feller is dressed in the Cleveland Indians home uniform whereas Newhouser is dressed in the Detroit Tigers road uniform. Several unidentified baseball players are warming up on the baseball field in the background. A caption written on the back of the photograph (not shown) reads, "L - Bob Feller - Cleveland Indians R - Hal Newhouser - Detroit Tigers." Based on Feller and Newhouser's uniforms and their time with their respective teams this photograph was taken in approximately 1946.
