DescriptionNavy blue wool cap, size 7, with a red button at the top crown and a white and red embroidered "US" logo on the front. Underside of the bill is green and the cap has a brown leather sweatband around the interior perimeter. Interior back of the sweatband has "M Berg" stitched into it. Proper left side of the interior sweatband has a "Spalding" logo imprinted in gold.
Bio/Historical NoteAll Americans cap worn by Moe Berg during the 1934 Tour of Japan. Berg wore this cap throughout the American club's travels in the fall of 1934, from cool October days spent on board the ship to December contests at the tour's final stop in the Philippines. The party included future Hall of Famers Earl Averill, Lou Gehrig, Charlie Gehringer, Lefty Gomez, Connie Mack, Jimmie Foxx and Babe Ruth, along with several other American Leaguers.
