Feller is shown from the hips up. He is wearing a Cleveland road uniform with a nylon jacket underneath his jersey. He is looking away from the camera, up at his intended target. There is plain white background behind him with a top corner of a sign showing on the bottom right corner of the photo. The back of the photo (not shown) is stamped with International News logo and copyright warning. There is a piece of paper glued over the International News logo that has the date APR 6, 1949 stamped on it and also bears a typed caption and other info.Info section reads: Art with Predate TRIO-SPORTS For Release Sunday, March 27, 1949 Hearst Predate Service, NY.City Caption section reads: TRIO-SPORTS (A) -- PITCHER Bob Feller, one of Telltale Trio -- marked as key men as Indians tighten strategy in pennant defense.
