DescriptionA black-and-white portrait photograph of Bob Feller smiling while wearing a Cleveland Indians jersey and baseball cap. Feller is shown from the neck up, standing, his gaze directed towards his right off in the distance. Due to the lighting and lack of visible shadows, it is difficult to determine if this photo was taken either in a studio or outdoors. The surroundings lines are not original to the image and indicate that it was used in either a newspaper or magazine publication. On the reverse (not shown) are two dates stamped in black ink. The first reads "RECEIVED NOV 29 1950," and the second "LAST TIME USED FEB 2 1915 1st EDITION" indicating possible creation and publication dates of this image.
