Ty Cobb glove

DescriptionDark brown leather left-handed glove with four finger stalls, a thumb stall and a piece of leather between the forefinger and thumb stalls as webbing. Back side has an opening at the base of the finger stalls with a wrist strap having two buttonholes and a metal button for fastening. There is a black and gold "Wright & Ditson" manufacturer label on the wrist strap opposite the button.
Bio/Historical NoteTy Cobb, who holds the major league record for most games played in the outfield with 2,934, used this glove near the end of his stellar 24-year career.
