Babe Ruth World Series Autographed glove

DescriptionDark brown leather right-handed glove with four finger stalls, a thumb stall and a strap of leather connecting the forefinger and thumb stalls as webbing. Palm side bottom edge is lined with metal grommets and leather laces. Back side has an opening at the base of the finger stalls with a wrist strap having two buttonholes and a metal button for fastening. There is a "Draper & Maynard" manufacturer label in the center of the wrist strap. The top of the button has the manufacturer logo in red. Back side of the thumb has "Babe Ruth" and "World Series 1926" handwritten in black ink.
Bio/Historical NoteGlove used by Babe Ruth of the New York Yankees during the 1926 World Series. The St. Louis Cardinals won the Series over the Yankees, 4-3.
