DescriptionSterling silver trophy cup mounted on a black plastic base with two large handles on either side. Front has engraved lettering, "Presented By / The Boy Council of Philadelphia / To / Connie Mack / Manager Of / The World Champion Athletics / In Recognition Of His / Sterling Character / And His Interest In / And Inspiration To The / Boys of Philadelphia / May 10th 1930." Top of the trophy has a lid that lifts off with a robed female figure with wings and holding a laurel wreath.

Bio/Historical NoteIn May 1930, the Boy Council of Philadelphia presented this trophy to Connie Mack, manager and owner of the defending World Champion Philadelphia Athletics, for "his interest and inspiration to the boys of Philadelphia."
