Columbus Cup trophy

DescriptionSterling silver trophy cup with two handles in the front on either side of the raised lettering and one handle in the rear. Handles are decorated with geometric designs and the top edge of the trophy cup is scalloped with floral and leaf designs. This design is echoed around the base of the top portion of the trophy cup, where the bottom of the handles come into contact with the trophy cup. Below this, the trophy cup bulges outwards before tapering again to a decorative base with four feet. Front side has "Columbus / Cup / Emblematic / of / Amateur Base Ball / Championship / Columbus, Ohio" in raised lettering. The remaining sides of the trophy cup are blank. Bottom of the base has a manufacturer stamp in the center, "Wilcox Silverplate Co. / Meriden, Conn. / Quadruple Plate."
