DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat, 38 ounces, with "Hillerich & Bradsby / 125 / Louisville Slugger" in the center of the barrel. There are 28 notches carved around the outer perimeter of the logo. Near the end of the barrel is "Trade Mark / George 'Babe' Ruth (facsimile signature) / Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." There is a paper label on the barrel with "(27) 28 notches / Each notch on this War Club of the Babe's represents one apple knocked out of the Ball Orchard. / George 'Babe' Ruth" in typewritten lettering.
