Standing with both arms down by his sides, Grimes looks forward to the camera, establishing eye contact. Grimes wears a glove on his left hand. Captured on the field, several figures and the outfield wall can be seen in the distance. Based on the specific design of the uniform worn by Grimes, this image was captured during the 1932 season, the sole year, during which Grimes played, that Chicago wore jerseys with the letter 'C' logo and piping. A cropped number can be seen in the upper right corner of the photograph. This sticker is not original.
