Rabbit Maranville glove

DescriptionDark brown leather left-handed glove with four finger stalls, a thumb stall and a horizontal strap of leather between the forefinger and thumb stalls as webbing. Back side has an opening at the base of the finger stalls with a wrist strap having two buttonholes and a metal button for fastening. Button has "Reach" engraved on the top. Wrist strap has a black and gold "Reach" manufacturers label opposite the button.

Bio/Historical NoteA veteran of 23 seasons in the big leagues, Walter "Rabbit" Maranville snared many of his record 5,139 putouts at shortstop with this glove.
