DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Sandy Koufax sitting in a convertible sports car. Koufax is wearing a suit and smiling over his shoulder at the photographer. Editing marks are visible on the photograph. The caption on the reverse (not shown) reads, "Koufax wins again. Sandy Koufax, pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, smiles from the seat of the sports car given to him by a sports magazine Oct. 18 in New York. The magazine said the award was for the superb mound work by Koufax during the World Series which meant the championship for the Dodgers. Koufax pitched two wins, after losing in his first trip to the mound during the series." According to the caption on the reverse, this photograph was taken on October 18, 1965.
