DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Tris Speaker sitting in uniform. Speaker, shown from the waist up, depicted in profile, wears a Cleveland Indians road uniform. Seated, Speaker leans forward, resting his forearms on his thighs. Turning his head to his left, towards the camera, Speaker directs his gaze to a point to the left of the camera. Visible in the upper left of the image is the face of a teammate in profile. Stamped on the reverse (not shown), in purple ink, is the date, "AUG 6 1925," as well as the phrase, "Hugh O'Neil Photographer."
