DescriptionA black-and-white posed photograph of Bob Feller fanning out copies of 6 insurance policies that were taken out on him by the Cleveland Indians. He is facing to his right with his head turned back towards the camera. He is looking at the camera and smiling. is wearing a Cleveland Indians 1940-1941 style home jersey and cap. The background behind the insurance policies has been greyed out and the background around Feller's head has been whited out. There are also crop marks and some writing on the photo. The caption on the back of the photo (not shown) reads: "CL18630 CLEVELAND" "INDIANS' FELLER INSURED FOR $200,000" "CLEVELAND, O. -Smiling Bob Feller pitching ace of the Cleveland Indians holds $100,000 worth of life insurance policies in his hands, part of a $200,000 insurance taken out by the management of the Indians. This is said to be the highest insurance figure ever taken out on a ball player of the club. 7-16-41 AM."
